Our Mission: Develop an online portal to provide Winery Direct access for all buyers, and to minimize the fees associated with marketing and selling wine for each of our member wineries.

Our site is currently the only actual "winery direct" web site available to everyone. Buyers who purchase for resale (i.e.; restaurants, wine bars) automatically view there discounted pricing (once approved during registration process and if provided by seller).

We allow the buyers and sellers to communicate with one another (via our system) and then route 100% of the buyer's payments directly to the seller (winery) payment portal (either "PayPal" or "Google Checkout").

By becoming a member of PRWA, you will have access to our member wineries diverse products. Not all listings are setup as auctions. Since we are a new site, many of the listings have "Buy Now" pricing though some of the sellers encourage you to "Make Offer".

Though this site is intended for displaying only Paso Robles, CA wine producers, PRWA can not guarantee all listings are from producers located in Paso Robles, CA.

For other wineries in California not within the Paso Robles AVA, please watch for our sister website www.buycaliforniawinesdirect.com. This site is scheduled to launch during the 1st quarter of 2012.

This site is designed and was intended:

• to allow only licensed & bonded producers to rent our virtual Stores
• for wineries to list one or more "Cases" or "Bottles" (usually 750ml/ea) product for sale. Some wineries may wish to provide a sample bottle listing for a related listed case. The cost for this bottle may or may not be related to the case pricing. If you are registered as a wholesale buyer (i.e.; restaurant, wine bar, etc.) feel free to ask the seller (winery) to provide you a sample bottle. Note: Not all wineries can afford to do this though many are willing too. When you are ready to make your purchase, we ask that you complete your transaction thru our site
• for buyers and producers to contact each other using our internal messaging system. Messages can be sent either by private or publicly (if you choose to allow everyone to view your questions and responses)
• to provide buyers who purchase for resale (such as wine shops, restaurants) tax exempt purchases in the state of CA
• to meet and exceed current US state laws regarding alcohol purchases. You must be 21 years of age to register, bid, buy and be shipped any alcoholic product on this site

As you are probably aware, alcoholic products cannot be shipped into many US states. Direct shipping laws are constantly changing, so if your state is not listed (in the dropdown field) when using the shipping calculator (located right-bottom) in each listing, then that winery is currently not permitted to ship to your state, or has chosen on their own behalf, to limit there distribution for any number of reasons. If you choose to make a purchase from any of our winery members Stores, they will engage a shipper on your behalf. Our winery members make no representation relative to your right to import wine into your state. Each state has its own rules and possibly taxation about alcoholic beverages. You may want to check with the appropriate agency in your state or county. Based on our most current PRWA research, the following states are still mostly forbidden for shipping alcohol into: AR, KY, MD, MS, MA, PA, UT. While most other US states are not forbidden, a few have either imposed quantity limits or taxation laws which may add fee(s) to your purchase.

So PLEASE read all of the chosen Sellers Store details completely before making a decision to offer or buy. Sellers do have the right to invoice you a second time in order to pickup any added fees, taxes or extra shipping costs not considered in the auction listing, or due to buyers shipping destination. Buyers have the right to cancel there bid if they are not able to work out these details to there satisfaction, by communicating directly with the seller.
